People with stories to tell!
I am looking for 3 people to be a part of a project I am working on. Have you built a business from the ground up? Have you overcome adversity and would like to share your success with others? Have you achieved a lifelong dream?
Contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org and provide me with the following information:
What is your story?
How have you achieved your goal/overcome obstacles?
Who has helped you along the way?
Are you comfortable with a series of photos being taken?
Are you happy to have your story told on my social media pages?
Contact me by Friday 1st December!
I recently began providing some of my images to stock photography sites such as Shutterstock, Alamy (see link below), Eye Em and Red Bubble.
The beauty of sites such as these are that I have had to really hone my technical skills (if the images don’t meet standards, they don’t get selected). I’ve been fortunate enough to have a couple start selling! Images such as these are used for company websites, advertising, promotional materials or social media. .
I also sell and purchase images and fonts from Creative Market. These are great for any digital artist looking to create and promote items on sites such as Zazzle. Most products from Creative Market come with a commercial license, allowing you to use the graphics to create items for sale on the Zazzle website.
If you have any images you would like to be turned into personalised gifts, don’t hesitate to let me know. I can work with sites such as Vista Print also.
I am not usually one to go along with Halloween, but we thought it might be a bit of fun and tagged along with some friends around a popular area in Mitcham. It was great to see so many houses decorated for the occasion and so many families (including parents) dressed up for it! Some images from the night:
Last weekend we headed down to Seaford Beach (and ended up at Parkdale!) for some photos. Despite the sun and cloudless sky, it was a little breezy cool.
We chose to start on the pier, then head underneath for a few fun shots in the shallow water, utilising the contrasting sun and shade to give beautiful colour and contrast to the images.
There are quite a few stunning images that show Jass’ fun side, as well as some more posed ones, to help build her portfolio.
You can see a highlight of them all in the slideshow below. Thanks Jass for such a fun day!
On Saturday, my long time friend asked me to take some photos of her son Jarryd, prior to his debutante. A group of the students met at the Tim Neville Arboretum for some relaxed photos.
Here are some of my favourites.
I hope you all had a wonderful time, you all looked amazing!

With the warmer weather coming, I have been trying to find ideal locations for portraits, a little different than your standard ‘sit and pose’ outdoors kind. Being a huge fan of natural light photography, I love to get outside and utilise the light and shade that is available through various parts of the day.
Sunset beach locations are perfect for shadows and contrastive images, beautiful colours and playful family time. Some other water based locations include water parks, waterfalls, rivers/streams and just playing under the sprinkler in the backyard! As are flower fields (plenty of tulips and canola at this time of year!), botanical gardens and vineyards.
Here is a list of other fun locations. If there are any you would like to try, don’t hesitate to discuss options with us!
Outdoor summer photo ideas
On Saturday, we made the most of the fine (but cold) weather to do a lifestyle photoshoot in the CBD.
We ventured into Hosier Lane, where the graffiti was amazing and made for great backdrops for the photos. After this, we headed across to Birrarung Marr, taking photos along the bridge, using the city backdrop and with the bells, before finishing up with some relaxed, candid shots along the Yarra River.
Jass was a great model and was more than happy to try different things, even when they ventured outside of her comfort zone!
I am a huge fan of natural light photography and Jass’ photos are a testament to it!
